My journey into nature photography began during a difficult period in my life. I found myself taking long walks to process my emotions. During these solitary journeys, I began noticing the beautiful birds along my path. Something about their presence lifted my spirits, so I started bringing my camera along.
What began as a form of emotional healing quickly evolved into a passion. I'd return home from my walks and spend hours learning about the birds I'd photographed - discovering their unique behaviors, endangered statuses, or remarkable migration patterns. This connection to wildlife through my lens became a form of meditation and joy that pulled me out of a dark place, growing into what some might call a healthy obsession.
